The fabulous wedding venue of Hotel Van Dyk in Clowne, Derbyshire was the location for the ceremony and celebrations. Nicola has stayed the night before and was already well into her morning preparations when we arrived.  Several miles away Matthew and his groom’s party, including the couple’s children Finley and Cooper were taking a more relaxed approach to their morning.

Michael & Melissa’s wedding day started and finished at the ever beautiful Carlton Towers in Goole, Doncaster, East Yorkshire. Despite the occasional shower, nothing could dampen the wonderful warmth of this wedding. Mel’s eye for detail was certainly showing throughout the day, with stunning vintage touches, such as lovely little ornate frames on each table with a famous romantic quote. The civil ceremony room at Carlton Towers looked simply stunning with the ornate lights, wood panelled walls and endless painted details on the ceiling. Holly the dog however, didn’t really notice most of this as she slept through most of the ceremony!

Fun Engagement shoot in the Gardens of Whitley Hall

Whitley Hall yorkshire engagement photographyWhitley Hall in South Yorkshire has a beautiful garden with a newly renovated lake, and this relaxed and fun engagement shoot, took advantage of those surroundings. Dean and Melanie were planning their wedding for mid July, and so wanted their engagement shoot close to the wedding, so they could overcome the nerves of the big day by getting used to being in front of the camera. The setting was perfect for this, the day wasn’t too wet and the jetty over Whitley Hall’s lake was a stunning setting.
